Hey guys! October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As too many of us and people we are close to have been directly affected by breast cancer, it is so important to show our support for those fighting, celebrate those battles won and raise awareness together! Did you know that 4/5 women over 40 in the Midland and Ector County areas do not get a mammogram? Early detection is so important to help get the necessary connections and treatment needed to fight back and triumph over this disease.
With much love and absolute admiration, we are proud to help sponsor Pink the Basin and educate others on how they can contribute to this organization and help the women in their families and communities thrive.
Pink the Basin in a non-profit organization consisting of board members and volunteers working tirelessly to raise awareness for breast cancer and women’s health as well as help provide the tools and connections needed to screen, prevent and treat breast cancer. All donations to Pink the Basin remain in the Permian Basin and are distributed to partnering hospitals and clinics to get those who have limited or no healthcare coverage the mammography and diagnostic services that every woman needs.
Join us and support Pink the Basin at their annual benefit luncheon at the Midland Horseshoe Pavilion on October 10th! Tickets available on pinkthebasin.com/pinking-events/
